Nice Ninja is an animation studio founded by Thomas Borch Nielsen and the award-winning team behind the successful animated feature ”Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms”. “Sunshine Barry” was sold to 78 countries – all theatrical releases. We aim to have the same international potential in all our projects.
Nice Ninja is currently producing MARCO MACACO, the CG animated debut feature film of Jan Rahbek and the spin-off Tv-series The Marco Macaco Show. As well as developing The 3D animation comedy The Snowflakes, by Thomas Borch Nielsen, and have just started production of the 2D animated short, The Shadow Animal, by Dorte Bengtson.
Our entrance to a project is typically through a feature film, but it is important that the universes we create can expand to other platforms. We have a very experienced team and an efficient pipeline that enables us to do high-end character animation on a modest budget.
We are storytellers and we love to laugh, which explains why most of our projects are comedies.
